Good Guys Do Good Things

Last Saturday we held it down at Babylon the way we do the first Saturday of every month at Electric Pow Wow and this time we had Deejay Creeasian in tow and man what a honor it was. Not only is this guy a Red Bull Thre3Style semi finalist (for now), and a wicked Bboy but he is also doing some big things for Canada’s Northern and inner city communities. You see, Creeasian is a part of Blueprint For Life, a wicked cool program that offers culturally rooted outreach using Hip Hop as a community development tool. It is a program that has garnered country wide recognition from a collective of deejays and breakers that are keen on finding a modern, relatable way to connect with those who are in need of a fresh way to learn about their culture and connect with the community they live in.

yup, we love that guy.
The opportunity to share the stage with this guy and introduce him to our EPW crowd in Ottawa was a good one at that and we will without a doubt be seeing more of this guy, hopefully sooner than later. If you want to check out the Blueprint For Life team and know a bit more about the cool stuff they are up to check out their WEBSITE

Just so happy all the time…EPW does that, its inevitable

I don’t even know what to say at this point, if you were there on Saturday or if you have been out to Electric Pow Wow with us before, you know what it was all about. The place was packed, the dance floor was sweaty, all of our friends were there, just another amazing night with A Tribe Called Red. It’s what we do…
